Morrison says Covid vaccine will go ahead on 'Australian rules' after local trial abandoned

Australian prime minister Scott Morrison says Covid-19 vaccines will be approved on 'an Australian timetable' after a vaccine developed at the University of Queensland was cancelled when participants returned false positive test results for HIV. While the UK and US have approved a vaccine by Pfizer, Morrison says Australia won't be rushed into a decision.
