Jaclyn recently graduated from West High School where she exited on top by obtaining All-State honors in volleyball, All-Area honors in basketball, and graduated in the top of her class academically. In addition to that, Jaclyn was simultaneously pursuing her dreams in music by participating in the guitar club by performing during school lunches, concerts, and talent shows as well as being heavily involved since she was 13 years old with the worship team from Faith Family Church. At 15, Jaclyn was thrilled when she received a callback to audition for the second round of the NBC's singing competition "The Voice". She is considering whether or not this is the route she wants to pursue again to break in to the music industry. Jaclyn is a lover of all music and genres so you will find her singing a multitude of genres on her Youtube channel. Currently, Jaclyn plans to attend Victoria College with plans to pursue an Electrical Engineering degree from Texas A&M. She decided to stay home for her basics as part of her plan to pursue music as she believes the convenience of staying local will allow her to put her time and money towards her big dream of recording her own music and putting out her first album. It wasn’t uncommon for her to spin both Shawn Mendes and Nicki Minaj, developing an eclectic mix of sounds. Jaclyn has slowly and carefully started building the bones to her career as a performer. Jaclyn has had many opportunities come her way. With Volleyball scholarships as well academic scholarships tossed her way, she had to decide which path to take. Ultimately, the desire to pursue Country Music and Pop Music was too strong for Gonzales to ignore. Country Music and Pop music are Gonzales's passion and love. It wasn’t an easy process, but it was a brave one, full of soul-searching and soul-bearing moments that lead her to pursue her passion to become a Pop and Country star. Growing up means never apologizing for who you are, and what you've been through. And for Jaclyn Gonzales, one of Country's and Pop's new voices, growing up also meant having the courage to put it all – the loss, the love and the highs and lows of life – into song. The result?
