The allotment was made as follows : Applicants for 10,000 shares — Allotted 10,000 shares Applicants for 60,000 shares — Allotted 40,000 shares Applicants for 10,000 shares — Allotted Nil shares. 20:15 Question No. 37: P Ltd issued 2,000 shares of 100 each payable as follows: On application Rs. 30 On allotment Rs. 40 On first call Rs. 20 On final call Rs. 10. Applications for 1,800 shares were received. Manjit did not pay two calls on his 100 shares and Jaswant did not pay final call on his 50 shares. Shares Manjit and Jaswant were forfeited. Pass entries in Journal 33:08 Question No. 38: A company issued shares of Rs. 10 each. Amount being payable Rs. 3on application: Rs. 2 on allotment; Rs. 4 on first call and Rs. 1 on final call.
