Jesus was "guilty" of sin. He had NEVER known sin. He had NEVER had an evil thought. He had NEVER committed immorality. NEVER thought about it... but on that Cross, He became "guilty" of all of OUR sins... and because he became "guilty" for us and took OUR sins... now God can say to you, I forgive you... I forgive you... and I forget your sins. Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
