Series: Losi Mini-B Dirt Offroad: Part 1 - Initial setup

In this video I bought a new Losi Mini-B RTR to race in the summer outdoor dirt offroad series at our clubs offroad track. The track is an outdoor offroad clay track with low-medium grip with a light amount of dust on the surface which is typical for a lot of dirt tracks this little car will be raced on. In this series I'm going to take you through the process of getting a new car and tuning it to your track conditions. In this first video the plan was to take it to open practice and get a feel of the baseline setup and then make improvements from there. I found the car did handle well with the stock brushed motor, but the car struggled coming out of corners and would tend to spin out if I got on power too fast. Over the series I'll be making upgrades to the motor, esc, and other parts for more performance and reliability. I'm not just going to throw parts at it, I'll be adding the right parts to improve the car. Feel free to join in and make suggestions for upgrades and tuning! 0:00 Intro to the RTR 1:41 Running on the offroad track 5:07 Handling review and setup ideas These little cars are available in lots of hobby shops.
