Solihull vs. Tranmere: Highlights
"Tranmere picked three points with three goals away at Solihull Moors. Jake Kirby scored either side of half time before James Norwood came off the bench to seal the win towards the end. The first chance of the game came on 15 minutes when a cross from Lee Vaughan found Lois Maynard on the edge of the six yard box but his header was saved by Lewis. Three minutes later, Vaughan again sent a cross from the right and Steven Jennings hit a volley which Lewis saved. Rovers broke the deadlock on 25 minutes when Scott Davies hit a goal kick forward. The assistant referee raised his flag but it was ignored by the man in the middle and while the home defence stopped, Kirby took advantage and rounded the goalkeeper to score. There were chances to increase the advantage but Kirby fired over and Andy Cook's cross went across the six yard box without a touch as Rovers went in 1-0 up at the break. It was Rovers on the front foot at the start of the second half. Louis Almond and Cook had chances before Kirby had the ball in the net but his effort was disallowed for offside. Kirby did get his second of the game on 82 minutes when Maynard's shot was parried by Lewis and he followed in to tap home from close range. James Norwood came on for the final half hour and got the goal which rounded off the scoring one minute into stoppage time. Darren Stephenson sent over a low cross and Norwood steered the ball home from six yards." Tranmere Rovers Matchday Report (http://www.tranmererovers.co.uk/news/...)
