Bilevel positive airway pressure means that the machine delivers air under higher pressure as the sleeper inhales, and switches to a lower pressure during exhalation to make it easier to breathe out. CPAP? Another type of BPAP machine called a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) is widely used as an initial treatment for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) . OSA is the most common type of sleep apnea, affecting 10% to 30% of American adults. IPAP and EPAP? IPAP:- stands for Inspiratory Positive Airway Pressure. It's the higher air pressure provided during inhalation in BiPAP therapy, helping to open up airways and make breathing easier. EPAP:- stands for Expiratory Positive Airway Pressure. It's the lower air pressure during exhalation in BiPAP therapy, keeping airways open and aiding breathing for individuals with respiratory issues. Used in Bipap Machine ? Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) obstructive sleep apnea, low Breathing probleme etc. Few Modes, Modes's Spontaneous mode (S): In this mode, the machine only pumps air when the user takes a breath in or lets a breath out.
