Golden Retriever Puppies Birth-8 weeks
The birth of our golden retriever puppies was traumatic and I would love to use it as a learning opportunity for anyone else that ever wants to get into this. We were told by multiple mentors who have been breeders for years that big dogs are easy and we just had to stand back and watch. That couldn't have been further from our reality. I still feel very lucky that we were able to find the other mentors as quickly as we did so that we were able to save our girl. If anyone finds this video and has questions about the negative side of things that do happen with golden retriever births, please comment and I would love to share the knowledge that I was given. These boys all were such fighters and are now handsome strong dogs that all have wonderful homes surrounded by love. We feel grateful that we were able to find them all such amazing homes (including one puppy that we fell in love with and kept as a companion for Mira). She is also now fixed seeing as we almost lost her and would never risk her going through that experience again as she is a part of our family. There is really nothing like the love of these sweet goldens!
