"Please speak with us." Holocaust survivors speak to Prime Minister Boris Johnson | Yet Again UK

Today, Tuesday 23rd February, Holocaust survivors Ruth Barnett MBE and Dorit Oliver-Wolff BEM have written an open letter to Boris Johnson asking him to meet with them ahead of the vote on the Genocide Amendment. Outraged at having seen the recent leak revealing that the Government is pursuing trade deals with the CCP, they have taken matters into their own hands. In this video message, they directly address Boris Johnson, reminding him of his recent commitment to learn the lessons from past genocides. Having never made a public intervention before, they believe they must speak out as “trade is not worth the price of a people”. As of yet, Boris Johnson has avoided listening to Uyghur activists, the Board of Deputies of British Jews, the Muslim Council of Britain and the International Bar Association. Will he now listen to Ruth and Dorit? Find out more: https://yetagainuk.com/genocide-amend... Write to your MP: https://genocideresponse.org/ ABOUT US Since the Holocaust, the words “never again” have come to symbolise a global commitment to prevent atrocity. This is a failed, unrealised ambition. Perpetrators of atrocity act with impunity so long as we unknowingly look past their transgression. Here at Yet Again, we aim to shine a light on modern atrocity. Our dedicated team explores a diverse range of topics through both a socio-political and legal lens. We hope to share with you our knowledge, insights, and passion for international justice. We aim to bring about change.
