Join me as I travel with Greek Catholics to the historic city of Kamyanets-Podilskyi, where worship, confession, and communion connect us not only to God but to generations who defended their faith through hardship. We prayed the powerful St. Michael prayer, honored those on the frontlines, and discovered how Ukraine’s fight for freedom has always been rooted in both church and community. Few outside Ukraine know that Kamyanets once served as the last capital of the Ukrainian People’s Republic in 1919 a reminder that Ukraine’s statehood long predates Soviet claims. This story is more than history. It’s a testament that nations may rise and fall, but faith, as the foundation of identity, endures.
