GOSPEL OF THE DAY 09/16/2025 | Reflection: Don't Cry Anymore! 🔔 Daily Liturgy: 24th Week in Ordinary Time | Tuesday Today, the Word of God invites us to reflect on the responsibility of the Church's pastors and servants, called to live with purity, fidelity, and dedication. Saint Paul exhorts bishops, deacons, and communities to maintain sincere faith and exemplary lives. In the Gospel, Jesus shows himself close to human suffering by raising the son of the widow of Nain, revealing God's compassion that transforms tears into hope and new life. 📖 Today's Readings and Gospel: 🔹 First Reading: 1 Timothy 3:1-13 Saint Paul teaches that those who serve the Church must be blameless, self-controlled, prudent, and faithful, capable of responsibly leading their families and communities, bearing witness to the Gospel with their lives. 🔹 Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 100 (101) “I will dwell in the purity of my heart.” The psalmist proclaims his decision to walk in righteousness and maintain a blameless heart, far from lies and evil. 🔹 Gospel of Luke 7:11-17 Seeing the pain of a widowed mother who lost her only son, Jesus is deeply moved.
