UC Students robbed at gunpoint

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Three University of Cincinnati students are robbed at gunpoint, in two separate crimes, while walking near campus. The first was in the 3200 block of Vine Street at around 11 Tuesday night. A student had his cell phone stolen. The second happened a short time later at Brookline and Jefferson as two more students were robbed of their cell phones. The suspect in both cases is described as a heavy-set, black man around 25-years-old wearing dark pants and a black hooded sweatshirt. Police were able to track one of the phones but it was shut off before they could catch the suspect. If you have any information that could help police call Crime Stoppers at 352-3040.
