Was Paul a Sorcerer?

Was Paul a Sorcerer?

Join Doug at 2:30pm EST (Tuesday, Mar. 18, 2025) on the JesusNotPaul/Acts channel for a podcast discussion about how Paul's outright defiance of the Father's law, and teaching others the same, puts him right in the realm of the disobedience Samuel described as witchcraft and idolatry (1 Samuel 15:22-23). Being that Acts (a faulty narrative in so many ways) reports Paul to have done many miracles, because he is a false prophet, there is a component of magic and sorcery that is apparent in his regard, either through the stories of his miracles in Acts being outright lies, or if they actually occurred, Paul acting as a channel for the counterfeit miraculous works of Satan. The Father warned us in Deuteronomy 13 that false prophets would come along "prove" or test us through misdirection to get us to follow after false gods (in Paul's case, his false god is one of his own making, the counterfeit version of Jesus he preaches) and that these false prophets would attempt to lead us to break the Father's commandments. Paul's supernatural works as represented in Acts serve as the same types of magic and sorcery that those in Pharoah's court brought when Moses came with the Father's miracles. Those sorcerers were able to counterfeit and replicate the first few plagues that the Father brought on Egypt (until they ran out of steam and could not any longer). Demonic spirits do have the power to do miracles in the natural realm, and if any such works followed Paul, as someone who hated and diminished the Father and His law, his miracles were most certainly brought by demons. What would be the purpose of Acts presenting Paul doing such miracles? As with the Catholics who venerate "saints" even assigning them power to pray for others from the dead (necromancy), Paul has been venerated to lift him up above Jesus and His apostles to sidetrack the people of the Father away from Him and His Word (Jesus). This is one of the main reasons Acts is such an evil book: in the end, of the apostles and what they preached (the true and everlasting gospel), but uplifts Paul, in practical terms, as a replacement (false) messiah with a replacement gospel. So the answer to the question in the title of this podcast, is yes, Paul was indeed a sorcerer and a magician and if anyone follows him, it's due to the Devil's slight of hand that they do so, and the trickery that comes from the demonic realm leads all who follow Paul down the broad road that leads to destruction. Follow Jesus, Not Paul, nor Acts, down the narrow way that leads to everlasting life. This should be an interesting discussion. Hope to see you then!
