Daily Homily by Fr. Zygmunt Kurzawinski - Feast of the Archangels, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael *** In this YouTube video, I delve into the fascinating topic of the presence of archangels in our lives and their profound involvement in our spiritual journey. We often don't realize how much they work behind the scenes to give glory to God and minister to us. Many of us tend to focus on the physical world and base our decisions solely on what we can see and touch. However, there exists a greater dimension that we often overlook. Our daily decisions rarely take into account how they might impact our eternal salvation. It's a perspective we often neglect, prioritizing our immediate comfort and prosperity. In the Book of Revelation, we read about a war in heaven, where the archangel Michael and his angels battled against the dragon. This cosmic conflict has a direct impact on our lives today, as Pope Benedict XVI noted that when we remove God from our lives, we inadvertently invite evil forces to take hold. I discuss how the choices we make can either align us with God or lead us down a darker path. It's essential to be aware of the subtle influences of the culture around us, as some ideologies can steer us away from our faith. To help us in this spiritual battle, the Lord grants us the assistance of archangels like Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. These powerful beings can guide us toward the path of righteousness and protect us from spiritual dangers. However, it's crucial to be transparent and humble before God, acknowledging our weaknesses and seeking His help sincerely. Mere prayers won't suffice if our actions contradict our faith. I also share a compelling story about the intercession of Archangel Michael in the city of Gargano, Italy, against physical enemies. If his intercession can thwart physical adversaries, imagine how real and powerful these archangels are in our spiritual battles. So, in this video, we explore the profound role of archangels in our lives and how we can tap into their assistance as we navigate the challenges of our spiritual journey. Remember, they are always close by, ready to support and uplift us.
