Homily Quick Bite-December 31, 2023
This past Sunday, we celebrated the Holy Family. We heard about Mary and Joseph taking Jesus to the temple in Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord. While there, a man named Simeon, who was living out a prophecy from the Holy Spirit that he would not die until he had seen the Christ of the Lord, took Jesus into his arms and confirmed that Jesus was Christ. We then heard that the Holy Family left Jerusalem, and returned home to Nazareth where they lived and grew in wisdom. Is your family a reflection of the Holy Family? Join us for Mass this weekend - it's the Epiphany of the Lord and we will have holy water and chalk with a prayer card so that you can bless your home for the new year! Saturday Mass at 4pm, Sunday Masses at 7am, 8:30am, 11am, and 5pm. In Spanish on Sunday at 7am, 2pm and 7pm. All are welcome.
