Launch the Settings app on your iPhone. Swipe up to the bottom and select Apps. Swipe up and tap on Mail. Tap Mail Accounts, select your problematic mail account, and toggle Mail. If it’s on, turn it off and on again. Force close and reopen the Mail app. If the Mail app fails to fetch new mail from the IMAP server, check Mail account settings. Launch the Settings app. Swipe to the bottom and select Apps. Swipe up and choose Mail. Tap Mail Accounts and select the problematic account. Check your username and mail address. If correct, tap Advanced and check if the IMAP Path Prefix has a forward slash. If it shows a grayed-out forward slash, retype it. Save changes. If the mail app isn’t loading emails, watch the detailed video. If the mail app crashes due to corrupted files, delete and reinstall the app. Press and hold the Mail app icon on the iPhone home screen. Tap Remove App. A popup will appear. Select Delete App. A message prompt will say, “To delete the Mail app, select another mail app as your default.” Tap Go to Settings and select Default Apps. Tap Email and select another mail app as default. Follow the same steps to delete the app. You’ll see a confirmation message that deleting the app will delete its data, but not any documents or data stored in iCloud. If you agree, delete the app and reinstall it. Check if the issue is resolved. If your mail app is frozen and content isn’t loading in emails, force restart your iPhone. Press and release the volume up and down buttons, then hold the side power button until the Apple logo appears. Wait 10-15 seconds, then release the power button and wait for the restart process to complete. Unlock your iPhone and check if the problem is solved. Reset all settings to fix wrong settings and customization, cellular, and Wi-Fi connectivity issues without deleting data. Launch the Settings app, tap General, swipe to the bottom, and select Transfer and Reset iPhone. Tap Reset All Settings. If prompted, enter your passcode and confirm the reset.
