S. Korea－U.S. holding high－level military talks in Seoul 한미 합참의장 대담...사드 배치 여부

In the meantime，... South Korean military officials are holding talks with visiting chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff， Martin Dempsey on this Friday. There hasn′t been an official briefing yet... but Dempsey and his counterpart Choi Yoon－hee are said to have discussed security matters in and around the peninsula. General Dempsey is now in conversation with Korea′s Defense Minister Han Min－koo. Prior to the talks，... South Korea′s military leaders said... the agenda would focus on pending issues， such as North Korea′s increasing nuclear and missile threat，... and the transfer of wartime operations control from Washington to Seoul. But there′s still no word on whether the issue of THAAD has come up during the talks.
