Psalm 37:4 (KJV); Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Oftentimes, God places desires in your heart. He causes you to desire His desires so that His desires become your desires. This is why you must be very careful about the light in your spirit that creates divine desire. You must ask yourself, why do I feel the need to stand before stadiums of people ministering to them and teaching them about the love of God? Why do I wish for the opportunity to preach multitudes to Christ? Why is a particular country on your heart? Not because you want to migrate there in search of ‘greener pastures’ but because you feel that you have a message for that land? Don’t be mistaken. Not everyone actually feels the way you do about certain things. A great many people are more preoccupied with their needs, personal dreams, and ambitions. So, do not wave off these desires of your heart as mere wishes. Contemplatively dig deep and ask yourself why you feel the way you do. These desires are often the seed of God. When you start to give them the attention they deserve, you kick into motion laws and principles that start you on a journey of divine purpose. Hallelujah! PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this knowledge. I receive it as wisdom and from today, I will never take for granted the desires of my heart. I am diligent in inquiring and as I do, I receive understanding of why my heart pants after certain realities.
