This was by far the most fun I have had on a mycology project! 🍄 🎃 I harvested a decent amount of mushrooms from the pumpkin and I’m super surprised how long the pumpkin itself has lasted without decaying much! 😮 it’s been around 36 days since I cut the top off. I suppose it’s due to the low temperature in Michigan recently. I am going to leave the pumpkin around to see if more mushrooms grow out of the top now that I removed the stem. The mycelium still looks healthy and may even need a drink. Thank you everyone for the kind words and support of my channel.
