Bedtime story - Bible Ep010

Joseph and the Coat of Many Colors Joseph, the son of Jacob and Rachel, was known for his remarkable coat of many colors, a gift from his doting father. This coat symbolized his father's deep love and favoritism, which aroused the jealousy of his ten older brothers. Joseph's brothers, consumed by envy, plotted to get rid of him. They sold him as a slave to traders, who took him to Egypt. In Egypt, Joseph's integrity and wisdom caught the eye of Potiphar, an official of Pharaoh, and he was put in charge of Potiphar's household. However, Joseph's faith was tested when Potiphar's wife falsely accused him of misconduct, leading to his imprisonment. Even in prison, Joseph's ability to interpret dreams was revealed, and he was eventually summoned to interpret Pharaoh's dreams. Joseph's interpretation predicted seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine. Impressed by his wisdom, Pharaoh appointed him as the second-in-command in Egypt. When famine struck, Joseph's brothers came to Egypt seeking food and unknowingly encountered their long-lost brother. Joseph forgave his brothers, reconciled with them, and brought his father and the entire family to Egypt to escape the famine. The story of Joseph and his coat of many colors teaches lessons of forgiveness, faith, and the ultimate triumph of good over adversity.
