RC Drift Car Alignment Settings 2.0

Alignment on your RC Drift Car can be a critical tuning aspect that might be confusing to some new commers to the RC Drift hobby. In this video, I talk about my personal theories with wheel alignment on my reveD RDX and Yokomo RD2.0 rc drift cars. I’ve gone to the track and tested out these settings and here is where I’m at for the time being, like I said I change things pretty often. I tested the rear camber link in both positions and for me the lower hole on the chassis side felt the best. The rear springs were a bit hard so I went back to the ReveD medium red springs. I’m in the process of adding a new capacitor on to the XD10 pro because I might have reverse polarity popped mine, whoops. I’ll list all my alignment setting here for you to have in one spot and like I said before, these might work for some people and others might not like them, tuning your rc drift car is very subjective so tune to what feels good for you. I hope that some of these explanations helped you visually see the difference in contact patch and what the tire is doing while you’re drifting to hopefully help you better understand and set up your rc drift car.
