Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) on Provident Fund (PF) withdrawal is applicable based on the following conditions: 1. When TDS is Applicable TDS will be deducted on PF withdrawal if: The withdrawal amount exceeds ₹50,000 The employee has not completed 5 years of continuous service (including previous employers if the PF balance was transferred) 2. TDS Rates on PF Withdrawal 10% TDS if PAN is provided 30% TDS (plus surcharge & cess) if PAN is not provided No TDS if the withdrawal amount is less than ₹50,000 or if the employee has completed 5 years of service 3.
