You can typically buy these policies over and above a base plan for your health insurance. As a result, you’ll pay a lesser premium for top up and super top up plans as compared to a base plan. But, what is the difference between top up and super top up plans? In top up plans, the deductible clause is applicable each time you get hospitalised. Whereas, in super top up plans, the deductible clause is calculated on the basis of one entire year.
