Mass for the Fifth Sunday of Lent at the Border Town Parishes (April 6, 2025)
MASS FOR THE FIFTH SUNDAY OF LENT AT THE BORDER TOWN PARISHES (APRIL 6, 2025) Fr. Pete Jankowski offers this Liturgy on location at St. Anne's Church (St. Anne, IL) on behalf of the parishioners of St. Patrick's Church (Momence) and the National Shrine of St. Anne (St. Anne) who are not able to attend services. Everyone is invited to our indoor liturgies at the border town parishes (we have plenty of room)! So many resources are available online concerning the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Utilizing one of those sources (which you can watch in its entirety at the end of this Mass Video), Fr. Pete speaks about the therapeutic element of confession, that getting the sins out of one's life and then having both God and the community forgive that person is a constant theme in the world of faith - God forgives AND forgets for those of good will who truly attenmpt to change their lives for the own salvation... even though we often commit the same transgressions over and over again...
