Uncovering Antique Treasures at Florida's Premier Vintage Extravaganza!

Slots, Soda and Sonneman Lamps | Renningers Antique Extravaganza... Renningers is known for promoting huge summer shows in Pennsylvania, and winter shows here in Florida at their parklike grounds! We’ll see two more fields of vintage and antique goods at the Mt. Dora, FL Extravaganza. There’s so much once again that this is the first of two segments about this edition of the show, we’ll come back to film more during the massive February show as well. Dora have a lot of dealers with heavy objects needing flat surfaces, from wagon wheels to cast metal trucks. These fun, nostalgic and purchase-inducing pieces include bakelite radios, fun Fiesta ware and mid-century lighting. Under the shady oaks, Spanish moss points down to colorful and stylish glass Viking animals, true Vaseline glass and vivid Consolidated glass wares from the 1920s. Devilish demons and Coke coolers share attention with Kovacs lamps and Barcelona chairs. A good display teaches me that 1970s Japanese stoneware can make a fun and freshly modern collection. A big brass binnacle makes an appearance. A 5 cent slot machine shows its age in style. Part of the fun of being at a huge antique show is finding other things to buy, and I did!
