Learn how to make authentic Asian flavors at home with easy-to-follow techniques and the perfect blend of spices! ________________________________________ Recipe Cabbage Pickle Ingredients: Cabbage (shredded) 1 medium Beetroot (grated) 1 Ginger (sliced) 1 tablespoon Water 2 cups Salt 1 tablespoon Vinegar 1 cup Sugar 2 tablespoons Method: In a pan, add grated beetroot, sliced ginger, water, salt, vinegar, and sugar, and bring to a boil. Let it cook for 5 minutes, then add the finely chopped cabbage and remove from the stove. Let it sit for 3 days before using. ________________________________________ Recipe Spicy Korean Stew Ingredients: Chicken legs 4 Potatoes (cut into 4 pieces) 2 large Red chili paste 4 tablespoons Carrots (thinly sliced) 2 Garlic (chopped) 2 tablespoons Ginger (chopped) 2 tablespoons Black pepper 1 tablespoon Green onions 2 Onion (chopped) 1 large Soy sauce (dark) 2 tablespoons Oil 8 tablespoons Salt 1 teaspoon Honey 4 tablespoons Chili sauce 1 cup Method: Heat oil in a pan and fry onions, garlic, and ginger for 1 minute. Add chicken and sauté for 5 minutes. Then, add red chili paste, soy sauce, salt, honey, and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes. Add potatoes and cook for another 5 minutes. Then, add carrots, chili sauce, and black pepper, and cook for 2 minutes. Finally, stir in green onions and serve with rice. ________________________________________ Recipe Thai Style Prawn Curry Ingredients: Prawns 500 grams Oil 6 tablespoons Coconut cream 1 tin Fish sauce 3 tablespoons Brown sugar 3 tablespoons Red chilies (sliced) 4 Garlic (chopped) 1 tablespoon Ginger (sliced) 2 tablespoons Lemongrass (sliced) 2 stalks Fresh coriander 4 tablespoons Fried onions 4 tablespoons Boiled rice 3 cups Red chili paste 3 tablespoons Method: Heat oil in a pan and fry garlic. Add prawns and sauté for 1 minute. Then add brown sugar, red chili paste, coconut cream, 1 cup of water, lemongrass, and fish sauce, and cook for 5 minutes. Now, add sliced red chilies and fresh coriander.
