RE4 Remake PC - NG PRO S+ - Knife Only - No primal knife - FINAL BOSS
In this video: FINAL BOSS: I am quite low on resources but thankfully I was able to make it. This was partly due to RNG of how Saddler jumps to reposition himself. Sometimes he will do it where you do not take damage, this is extremely important. The flashbangs are good to stagger for more hits. Part of the reason why I was so treasure hungry this run, besides having enough to repair my knife and combat vest, was to afford the exclusive on the fighting knife. In my experience, I really like this knife for the boss fight as opposed to the normal knife. Don't forget to pull out all remaining first aid sprays you have still stored! I beat the game with nearly an hour to spare as well as 2 extra saves. I understand I used skips and hats/armor but I am proud nonetheless about this accomplishment. I will be doing another knife run with some changes being made. I will be shooting medallions and treasures down, I will also be using charms I get from the shooting gallery. However, I will not be using hats/armor/sunglasses. I will be doing the Salazar skip next time with the eggs. (If OG RE4 knife only gets all grenades and eggs, then certainly I can use eggs for this run). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beating Resident Evil 4 Remake on a new game in the hardest difficulty (Professional) and getting the highest rating (S+) while only using the knife and flashbangs on enemies. In this run I do: Use the handgun on sections that are required for progression, such as the Ashley water hall section, minecart section, etc. Use the deer antlers and chicken hats. Use Ashley armor and sunglasses. The cannon at the castle and the turrets on the island (As using the cannon has been done in other knife only runs I have seen and I cannot see how I would justify the cannon and not the turrets) Rifle Skips (I down-patched) Do the grenade battlements skip and the heavy grenade AA turret skip (I do use those two grenades on obstacles and do not kill enemies with them) In this run I do not: Shoot blue medallions. Use eggs on Salazar (However, on a run without hats/Ashley armor I am considering doing this as this fight absolutely depletes your store of all heals and flashbangs/L resources/gunpowder) Use anything DLC nor sell bonus weapons for an early head start. Use the primal knife. Use charms or the shooting gallery.
