Just believing in Jesus but bearing bad fruit, will that save me?

Believing one bible verse and disregarding all others won't do you any good for our salvation. Of course, we are saved by faith and not by works but faith without works is dead. A dead faith is without good works but it certainly produces bad works, however, an alive and active faith in God produces good works, it bears the good fruit of the Spirit of God. A tree is known by its fruit. A good tree bears good fruit and a bad tree bears bad fruit. Jesus said in Mattew 7:19-20: "19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." Someone who truly believes in God will love God, undoubtedly, and like any unprofitable servant will not serve God to earn anything but will serve Him because he loves Him. It is written, the love of God is obedience to His commandments and Jesus said: "If ye love me keep my commandments". It is written in James 1:12: "12Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him." I just want to tell you that God promised the crown of life to those who do not give in to temptation and overcome the trials because they love Him. May Jesus bless you.
