Marson (1856) 영화 '타이타닉'에서 배가 침몰하는 가운데 사람들이 동요하지 않도록 끝까지 자리를 지키며 이 찬송가를 연주하던 4인의 음악가들을 보면서 참 감명을 받았던 기억이 있습니다. 나름 그 느낌을 내보려고 했는데 역시 쉽지가 않네요^^; 워낙 원곡이 좋아서 편곡은 1도 하지 않고 찬송가 그대로 불렀습니다. 이 어려운 시기에 더욱 더 주님을 의지하고 주님을 가까이 하는 우리 한 사람 한 사람이 되길 바라며 이 찬양을 커버해 보았습니다. 커버 영상을 준비하면서 한 가지 에피소드가 있는데 제가 녹음하지 않은 화성이 녹음이 된 부분이 있더라구요~ 몇번을 들어보고 또 들어봐도 분명히 들리는 화성!! 들을 때 마다 소름이 쫙~ 천사가 저와 함께 찬양을 부른 것이 녹음된 것이라고 생각하기로 했습니다. 늘 찬송하면서 주께 더 나아가는 우리가 되길 소망합니다. I remember how impressed I was when I watched the four musicians who played this hymn, keeping their seats to the end so that people would not agitate while the ship was sinking in the movie Titanic. I tried to show that feeling, but it's not easy ^^; The original song was so good that the arrangement was not necessary. In this difficult time, I covered this praise, hoping to become more and more dependent on the Lord and close to Him. While preparing a cover video, there is one episode. There is a part of harmony that I have not recorded. Harmony is clearly heard whenever I listen. I decided to think that the angels sang with me when I sing this song. I pray that we will always sing to the Lord and be close to Him.
