
Resident evil 4 remake shooting range 3-A (rank S)
It's rather a simple level to tackle on with a red9 as a sole weapon and regarding the strategy there's practically nothing much to delve into at this point but I'd point out here to make sure proper positioning of Leon during the gameplay makes it even easier to land an S rank on this level :) 1, 00:04 ~ 00:19 : In the first part of the level you have some targets in four waves and in every wave of the targets you have one pirate with a TNT in his right hand (The TNT is always held up high by a target of a bald guy in a yellow shirt, in his right hand). As the target is rigged with a TNT in his right hand(that's to say you're always going to see his TNT on your left side) it always gives you more room to precisely shoot his TNT if you choose to stand on slightly the left side of the room(if not dare to swerve over to leftmost side as you're gonna lose your time to shoot down targets, that must be knocked down in a brief time). You have 4 guys with a TNT in total but you're only going to shoot the TNT of the target in only the first and second wave as in the 3rd/4th wave you also spawn sailor targets alongside the TNT target, and with a TNT explosion you'll end up destroying those targets as well to reduce your score, plus to make you lose your chance to go into the extra game for farming extra scores at the end of the level. Instead in trying to hit the targets at the last waves you ought to directly shoot three targets popping up from the left side of the stage, and on this point standing on the left side should come in handy as well for making the distance between you and the targets shorter, hence making it easier to hit the targets with your gunshots. ↓ 2, 00:19 ~ 00:34 : You're supposed to reload your Red9 after having done the first half of the level but whilst you're at this it's best to hover to the right side of the stage next door to the wooden stand on the right to raise up your pistol and take a shot to the TNT of one of the pirate targets on the back twice in a row(not really recommendable to go over to rightmost side of the stage here, as it gets a bit harder to hit those targets on their TNTs from a distance being a bit further than the aforementioned position with Leon standing slightly on the left from the rightmost side of the room). After shooting down the TNT of the target of a pirate in yellow shirt two times you're going to spawn targets of the final wave before the extra game, in seeing them pop up you have to shoot the emblem on the target on the leftmost side quickly before the TNT target comes closer to you. ↓ 3, 00:34~00:39 : After shooting the emblem of the target on the left you have to run over to the rightmost side immediately to accurately hit the TNT of the target of the yellow guy moving pretty fast on this round. The target moves very fast from left to right or vice versa according to its position at that time around, but when it's on the lane on the rightmost side of the stage it only goes forward towards Leon without going sideways at all, thus making it a lot easier to hit the TNT without missing a bullet. On hitting the TNT the game's going to be over, and if you managed to hit the TNT targets and some other regular pirate targets without missing a single shot you're going to get into the extra game. ↓ 4, (extra game : 00:39~) 4-1 ( first TNT target) : In the extra game you only have three targets you have to shoot the TNT, and a few boxes (if you want). The first target with a TNT spawns on the center soon after the game starts off but it doesn't move at all, so you can aim and calmly take a shot on the TNT from the center of the stage after waiting a few seconds for more boxes to show up on the stage, to blow them up altogether. 4-2 (second TNT target) : The 2nd TNT target is a bit tricky to hit for the target spawning on the back of the stage, but you're only going to try to hit it the same way as you did in the first half of the level, so there's nothing new to remember on the strategy you have to fall back on. It's advisable to hit the TNT of the target but you can still get S rank even if you missed it. 4-3 (third TNT target) : The 3rd(final) TNT target spawns in the same way as the fast moving TNT target at the end of the level not counting the extra game, this time you have some blocking targets in the air that covers the path the TNT target is supposed to follow the trail, but basically you can try to hit the target the same way as you did in the final part of the main game. It's recommendable for farming extra scores but you don't necessarily need to shoot the TNT for S rank at this part either. As I said earlier in the description the level itself ain't that much complicated and for that you don't have much things to keep in mind for high scoring, but I hope the description helps you at least figure out about how things work on the level, the knowledge of which would surely turn out to be useful in order to get S rank / higher score more easily :-).
