Today’s story selection is inspired by a painting I painted a few weeks ago, of what looks like a duck-swan (haha). I recorded myself painting it, so thought it would be a fun experiment to put it together with a reading of The Ugly Duckling. Written by Danish poet and writer, Hans Christian Andersen, today’s story is full of hope and encouragement, and I hope that all the “ugly ducklings” out there never lose sight of the beautiful swans you will become someday.
