Macrame Bookmark / Beginner-Friendly / DIY / Step-by-Step Tutorial / Easy Macrame Bookmark / Heart I thoroughly enjoyed creating this beautiful macrame bookmark ❤. The heart pattern adds a lovely touch, making it a perfect gift for your loved ones. This project has quickly become one of my personal favorites! In this tutorial, I will be using 3mm 4ply twisted cord for the bookmark. However, feel free to use braided or twisted cords as well. If you prefer a slightly thinner bookmark, 2mm cord would be a great choice. In that case, you can use 6 x 235cm / 92.52 inches instead of 6 x 220cm / 87 inches for the cord lengths. This variation will give you a slightly daintier result. Explore different cord options and find the one that best suits your preference and desired outcome. MATERIALS: 3mm 4 ply twisted cord (that's what I've used in this video) or 3mm 3ply twisted cord 3mm braided cord or 3mm twisted cord (1ply) You can also use 2mm cords, which will work perfectly for this project ( cut the cords slightly longer ( I'd suggest 15-20cm longer ) when using 2mm cords) :) CORD LENGTHS: 1 x 50cm / 20 inches 6 x 220cm / 87 inches You can also make use of any leftover cords for the following: 10 x 15cm / 6 inches 2 x 30cm / 12 inches KNOTS USED: Lark's Head Knot Reversed Lark's Head Knot Square Knot - • Macrame Academy - How to Tie the Squa...
