The Wolf Among Us Episode 5: Cry Wolf [Part 1/2]
Having arrived at Crooked Man's lair, Bigby confronts him and voices his intention to bring him in for the murder of Faith and Lily. However, he states that he didn't do it, instead revealing Georgie to have been the killer, confirming Bigby's earlier suspicion about Faith's pimp being involved in her murder. Shocked by his boss' betrayal, Georgie verbally attacks both Bigby and Crooked Man, causing his other associates to turn on Georgie. As the result, Crooked Man offers Bigby a deal; He'd hand Georgie over to him as a gesture of good faith while the rest of the organization and Crooked Man himself would remain untouched, the deal being supported by Tweedles and Jersey Devil while Georgie remains furious at his associates for willingly throwing him under the bus. However, Bigby remains unwavered and now wants both Crooked Man and Georgie to be taken back to the Woodlands. Tense confrontation between Bigby and Crooked Man's organization is interrupted as Bloody Mary enters the lair and attacks Bigby, provoking a violent fight during which Tweedles, Jersey Devil and Georgie all try to hold Bigby off with one of the Tweedles trying to shoot him with a silver-filled revolver that misfires, destroying one of the lair's stained glass windows and revealing a portal outside which Mary and Crooked Man use to evacuate, the same portal eventually being used by Georgie and Vivian after Bigby reverses Georgie's knife attack and slashes his stomach open, gravely injuring him. After quickly defeating Jersey Devil and Tweedles, Bigby jumps through the portal himself, finding Vivian preparing to drive Georgie away. In an attempt to stop them, Bigby assumes his werewolf-like form and pursues the car through the city streets, eventually finding a limousine containing fleeing Crooked Man and being driven by Mary. Opting to try and stop them, Bigby is thrown off the car's roof and ran down by Mary, eventually regaining consciousness in the middle of the street where he was ran down. With Crooked Man gone, Bigby returns to tracking Georgie and Vivian, coming to Pudding 'n Pie where he finds wounded Georgie sitting on the ground and sobbing over Vivian's beheaded corpse. Upon interrogating the wounded Fable, Bigby finds out the truth about the ribbons; Vivian was the original wearer of the enchanted ribbon and had suggested for the other strippers working in the club to wear them as well as part of its discretion rule. Georgie reveals that since Vivian's ribbon was the original one upon which others were made, removal of her ribbon would mean that the other wearers could take their own off without dying with Vivian, no longer able to bear the guilt for two deaths that her ribbons have caused, having committed suicide by removing her ribbon before Georgie who claims to have tried to stop her from doing so. After being asked why did he kill two of his prostitutes, Georgie claims that Faith and Lily planned to try and escape the indebted slavery they were forced into by Crooked Man's organization with Georgie having killed them upon being told to do so by Crooked Man fearing that he will be killed himself if he refuses, also revealing that him and Mary most likely holed up in an old metalworks factory called Sheppard Metalworks. With his confession and Crooked Man's location secured, Bigby decides to leave Georgie to die in agony, believing it to be suitable punishment for his misdeeds...
