You first, should travel to the Shadow Keep and interact with the hidden coffin which opens up a secret passage. From here, you need to keep following the river downstream until you reach the Darklight Catacombs. There will be lots of enemies that you need to clear out, as well as a boss, Jori, but once you have done so you will be able to access the Abyssal Woods.
