In The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon season 3 Carol mentions Rick Grimes' brother Jeffrey Grimes which is an easter egg and nod to the one off comic issue The Walking Dead The Alien where we see where Rick's brother was and what happened to him. I think this is just an easter egg as they're in Spain and a lot of fans know about Jeffrey being in Barcelona. It could be teasing the character Jeffrey meats in the comic called Claudia, making an appearance in the The Walking Dead TV universe or a future spin-off project for Jeffrey himself but I just think it was a nod to Rick's brother, for fans that know about that.
