You can see the shark going after Mick Fanning and throwing him off the surf board. Luckily For Fanning, the shark only managed to get his lease. If it wasn't the quick response of the organisers, it would have been a sad day for the surfing world. Mick Fanning just got a second life. He must be shaken after that event. The two finalist Julian Wilson and Mick Fanning later shared the prize money as the surf competition was called off due to shark attack at Jeffreys Bay in South Africa.
