Mother 3 is the Game Boy Advance sequel to the cult classic Super Nintendo RPG, Earthbound. Mother 3 began its development on the SNES before transitioning to the Nintendo 64. Development on the N64 64DD add-on was ultimately transitioned to the GBA. The game was released in 2006 in Japan, but was never officially localized in English. However, the game received an unofficial fan translation by the starmen.net community a few years later. The game's protagonist, Lucas, would go on to be featured in Super Smash Bros Brawl, Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS, and the upcoming Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
