ROOTED AND GROUNDED IN LOVE Wednesday 5th March 2025 - Midweek Service Ephesians 3:14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, [15] from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,... [17] that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, When Christ dwells in your heart through faith, Love becomes the root and foundation from which your life springs. 1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love 1 Corinthians 14:1 Let love be your highest goal! ... (NLT) What is your highest goal in life? How much is your life impacting the people around you? What testimony will you leave when you finally leave the earth? (Acts 10:38) As you walk with God, Let love be your highest goal and let anything you build, grow, or work on have its roots and foundation in love because Love never fails. God, our pattern man showed us the best example; When He wanted to deliver the earth, He did not show power but love. The Kingdom we have been born into is ruled by love and not power. Luke 10:33-37 Love has a way of interpreting life; The Levite and priest had no compassion for the wounded man yet a stranger was able to forego all his programs to show compassion to the wounded man. We are here to serve and this applies to all areas of life. All the evil we see today is because love has not taken root. Even us the believers , we need to permit the love that has been shed in our hearts by the Holy Spirit to find expression. Do not allow life, hard times, or betrayal to harden your heart and make you insensitive, but make you draw closer to the Master so He can use you. Do not be ashamed of your scars and wounds, they are a ministry as someone will believe because of them. 1 John 4:7-21, 1 John 5:1- The love of God has been perfected in your spirit; therefore, there is perfection in your spirit. As Jesus is, so are you in your spirit; that love is longing to find expression through your body. God's love is unconditional, and we love Him because He first loved us. Without Him loving us, we would not have been able to love Him, for love is of God. Therefore, true love is of God and not man. Romans 5:6-8 [6] For when we were still without strength, [d]in due time Christ died for the ungodly. [7] For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. [8] But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. God's love for us is independent of our performance: whether we do good or bad, He will not love us more or less because it is His nature to love. And nothing can separate us from His love, not even our sin and nor do circumstances define God's love for us. *(Romans 8:31-39)*.
