Honey Bees and foraging behavior, flowers for pollenation and nectar, what honey bees eat

Honey bees forage during daylight hours, when on a foraging flight, each honey bee only visits one species of flower per flight. This makes them perfect pollinators. The reward is nectar. Some plants like the milkweed have a timed release of their nectar which keeps the bees coming back again and again, insuring good pollination. This video is a visit to my own backyard and shows nectar bearing flowers that are blooming in July. I hope you enjoy it.
