Sonic & Friends (ソニック&フレンズ Sonikku & Furenzu) is a CGI animated web series developed by Sega, inspired by the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Consisting of short episodes primarily broadcast on Sega's official TikTok, the series targets a child audience by featuring adorable chibi versions of Sonic, his friends Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, as well as Shadow, Rouge, and the villainous Dr. Eggman. In production on July 3, 2023, Sega filed a trademark for the title "SONIC & FRIENDS," followed by a logo on July 27. The first short was released on TikTok on August 7, 2023, with episodes released at no set schedule, often weekly. Among the trivia, the "cute" design style used is inspired by products released since 2017. Design adjustments were made after the original trailer. Additionally, intriguing details in the shorts could reveal clues about the characters, particularly Shadow. Ever since a certain YouTuber called ‪@BuzzBomber‬ created a compliation of episdoes 1-39, there was no other compliation for the rest of the episodes here. I decided to revive that kind of fandom and add a compliation of my own—specifically starting at the next episode where he left out (aka episode 40). The compliation of episodes 1-39 made by him got 3.4K likes, as well as a lot of views. Note that the same video was published in October 25 2024, which was 5 months ago. Video's visibility is copyrighted in certain countries with only two songs coming from two specific episodes, so please keep that it mind.
