The First Movie Role of Famous Celebrities | Part One

Let's go back in cinema history to find that very first movie appearance of the celebrities we know and love! In this first part of the video series, we'll cover 20 famous celebrities in their (theatrical) film debut role. They say everyone has got to make a start somewhere, and that’s just as true in the world of cinema as it is in any other industry. After all, no one starts at the top. No, even those overnight successes usually take a good few years to get to the point where they can really be considered a true movie star. Obviously then, this means some of the biggest names in Hollywood today had relatively humble beginnings. And if you need any evidence of this, you need look no further than the fact that, before he was the muse of Martin Scorcese. Leonardo DiCaprio was getting his start in 1991’s Critters 3. And if that’s not enough to prove our point, how about the fact that, prior to being one of the biggest A listers on the planet, Brad Pitt was debuting in 1988’s The Dark Side of the Sun. Then of course there's the fact that, long before they were household names, the early eighties all saw the introductions of Michael J. Fox, Angelina Jolie, and Nicholas Cage in 1980’s Midnight Madness, 1982’s Lookin’ to Get Out, and 1982’s Fast Times at Ridgemont High respectively. Or the fact that Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 1970 film debut Hercules in New York was a far cry from the work he’d later do in movies such as The Terminator, Predator, and Total Recall. Yes, the reality is, to get to the top, you first have to do what all these actors did and start at the bottom.
