Easy Ricotta Stuffed Shells Recipe Ingredients For the pasta: 20 jumbo pasta shells Water (for boiling) 1 tsp salt For the sauce: 1/2 medium onion, chopped 3 garlic cloves, minced 1 tbsp olive oil 3 cups marinara sauce For the filling: 400g ricotta cheese 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 1/3 cup parmesan cheese 1/4 cup parsley, chopped (plus more for garnish) 1 large egg 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/4 tsp dried oregano Instructions 1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. Prepare the sauce: In a pan over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the chopped onion and garlic until golden brown. Stir in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes. 3. Make the filling: In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, parsley, egg, salt, black pepper, and oregano until well combined. 4. Assemble the shells: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
