Today Bible Verse in Tamil I Today Bible Verse I Today's Bible Verse I Bible Verse Today I28.12.2023 ENGLISH VERSION: Today's Bible Verse (28.12.2023): VERSE: But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. (PSALM 37:11 KJV) EXPLANATION: I extend my warmest regards to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today, we are meditating on the promise verse Psalm 37:11, which states that "But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace." It is a beautiful reminder that meekness is a virtue that brings peace and happiness into your life. Sadly, many households are broken today due to a lack of peace between husbands and wives. Similarly, teachers are often frustrated and overwhelmed by the behaviour of the children. However, if you and I fill our hearts with God's meekness, we can enjoy a peaceful and joyous life. The Lord has promised that you shall receive His meekness if you ask Him. Therefore, pray to the Lord saying, "Lord, give me Your meekness," and trust in His promise. St. Paul writes to Timothy in 1 Timothy 6:11, "You, man of God, pursue gentleness." Therefore, as a child of God, you must strive to embody gentleness and meekness in your daily life. You must seek God's face and ask Him to fill you with His divine nature, which is gentle and meek. Jesus Himself assures us in John 16:24 that if we ask, we shall receive, and our joy shall be complete. The more you seek the presence of God in your life, the more you become like Jesus, and the more you are filled with His divine meekness. Therefore, my dear beloved, cry out to the Lord and ask Him to fill you with His meekness, saying, "Lord, I am full of anger/ hatred/ jealousy. Please give me Your peace." Psalm 29:11 reminds us that "The Lord blesses His people with peace," and thus, you can trust in the Lord to bless you with His peace and all His other blessings. Finally, I urge you to accept Jesus as your Saviour and become one with Him. When you accept Jesus into your life, His nature which is divine meekness comes to you, and you can enjoy a life of peace and prosperity. Please pray to the Lord seeking His help and trust in His love and grace to bless you abundantly. May God guide you and bless you. PRAYER: Loving Heavenly Father, I come to You seeking Your peace and meekness in my life. I recognize that I have been consumed by anger and have been quick to lash out at others. I humbly ask that You come into my heart and fill me with Your divine nature of meekness. I ask that You remove any traces of jealousy and anger from my heart. Please transform me into a reflection of Your loving and compassionate nature. I desire to be a blessing to all those I encounter, spreading Your light and love wherever I go. I give You all the glory and honour for the transformation that is taking place in my heart and life. In Jesus’ name, I pray.
