[NO.310] 누가복음 9:49-50 / 모두가 내 편이다 (말씀:손석구 박사)

제자들은 귀신을 쫓아내지 못한 패배감이 사라지기도 전에(눅9:38-42), “제자 중에서 누가 크냐”는 서열논쟁 휘말렸습니다(눅9:46) 예수님은 이런 모습을 보시며 “큰 자” 에 대한 훈계를 해 주셨고 어린 아이를 영접하면 곧 당신을 영접하는 것이라고 하셨습니다(눅9:48) 어린 아이는 도움이 필요한 부족한 이들로, 영접해 섬기는 것은 예수님을 섬기는 것이라는 뜻입니다 이런 상황에서 제자들은 새로운 상황에 부딪혔습니다 예수님의 사도도, 제자 무리에 있지도 않은 이가 자신들은 하지 못했던 ‘예수님의 이름으로 귀신을 쫓는 것’을 보았습니다 예수님 곁에 있으면서도 귀신을 쫓지 못했던(눅9:40) 제자들은 그 사람에게 이를 금했습니다 마가와 마태복음을 보면, 예수님의 훈계가 더 기록돼 있어(막9:38-50; 미18:6-14) 말씀의 배후에 그 사람과 제자들 사이에 많은 논쟁과 의견이 있었을 사실을 알 수 있습니다 제자들은 이 사람이 함께 예수님을 따르고 있지 않기 때문에 귀신 쫓아내는 일을 금했고(49) 오랜만에 예수님께 칭찬을 들을 만한 일을 했다고 생각해 보고했지만 반응은 정반대였습니다 “예수께서 가라사대 금하지 말라 너희를 반대하지 않는 자는 너희를 위하는 자니라”(50) 이 사람이 누구일까요? 제자들과 함께 다니지는 않지만 예수님을 믿으며 예수님의 말씀을 들었고, 예수님이 귀신을 쫓아내신 것을 보았으며 예수님이 하라신 대로 믿음으로 행했던 사람입니다 예수님은 “소자”라고 부르셨습니다(막9:42; 마19:19, 14) 누가는 “금하지 말라”는 말씀으로 끝을 맺지만 마태와 마가는 계속 이 사건을 배경으로 예수님이 하신 말씀을 중요하고 무게 있게 기록하고 있습니다 첫째는 이 사건은 믿음이 약한 사람을 실족케 할 수 있는 행위입니다 제자들이 믿음이 어린 사람을 압박하는 것은 실족하게 할 수 있습니다 소자 중 한 사람을 실족하게 하는 사람은 연자 맷돌을 목에 달고 바다에 던지는 것이 낫다고 말씀하셨습니다(막42; 마18:6,7) 주님은 ‘잃은 양 한 마리를 찾는 것이 집에 있는 아흔 아홉마리를 보는 것보다 더 기쁘다’고 하시며 “소자 중 잃는 것은 하나님의 뜻이 아니라”고 하셨습니다(마18:13-14) 둘째로 주님은 서로 섬기기를 원하셨습니다 모르는 사람이라 할지라도 주님의 이름으로 일을 하면 물 한 그릇이라도 나누며 화목하게 섬기기를 원하셨고(막9:41,50) 하늘의 상을 결단코 잃지 않을 것이라고 약속하셨습니다(막(9:41) 예수님은 사람을 미워하시는 마음이 없습니다 용서하지 못할 죄인이 한 사람도 없으며 모두가 예수님이 편입니다 영적세계는 원수가 있지만 인간의 세계는 사랑의 대상자만 존재하기에 예수님의 마음으로 사람을 사랑하려고 노력하는 것이 그리스도인의 자세입니다 사랑의 주님! 주님의 마음을 배워 알게 하시고 주님이 원하시는 삶을 살도록 날마다 인도하소서! 예수님의 이름으로 기도드립니다 아멘! QT Sharing Text: Luke 9:49-50 Title: Everyone is on my side Before the disciples felt their sense of defeat for not being able to cast out demons yet disappeared (Luke9:38-42), they were involved in a controversy over the rank of “who is the greatest among the disciples” (Luke 9:46) Jesus looked at the disciples like this and gave them a warning about the “great one” And he looked at the little child and said to them whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me (Luke 9:48) Here, a young child is a poor person who needs help To receive and serve this person means to serve Jesus In this situation, the disciples encountered a new situation It saw them doing things they couldn't That is, casting out demons in the name of Jesus Although the disciples were with Jesus, they could not cast out the demons (Luke 9:40) But this man was not an apostle of Jesus, nor was he among the disciples, but he was casting out demons When the disciples saw this, they forbade him to do it Behind these words, there must have been much debate and opinion between the man and his disciples This can be inferred because the Gospels of Mark and Matthew contain more admonitions from Jesus related to this event (Mark 9:38-50; Micah 18:6-14) The disciples “forbid casting out demons in the name of Jesus” (49) The reason was that he was not following Jesus with his disciples The disciples thought they had done something worthy of praise from Jesus for a long time And I reported it to Jesus But Jesus' reaction was just the opposite He said, “Jesus said, Do not stop him, for whoever is not against you is for you” (50) So who is this person? This man is not walking with Jesus' disciples, but he is a believer in Jesus He is the one who heard the words of Jesus He was the one who had seen Jesus cast out demons He was a man who did what Jesus told him to do by faith And Jesus called this man a “little child” (Mark 9:42; Matt 19:19) Luke ends with these words of Jesus, “Do not stop him,” but Matthew and Mark continue to record the words of Jesus in a very important and weighty way in the background of this event First, this incident is an act that can cause a person with weak faith to stumble It causes sin for the disciples to pressure this young man to stop him He said that it would be better for anyone who causes one of these little ones to stumble, to have a millstone hung around their neck, and to be thrown into the sea (Mark 9:42; Matthew 18:6,7) And the Lord said that there is more joy to find a lost sheep than to see the ninety-nine in the house And he said, “In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of this little one should be lost ” (Matthew 18:13-14) Second, the Lord wanted us to serve one another Even if the disciples did not know each other, he wanted to share even a cup of water with each other and serve in peace if they did work in the name of the Lord (Mark 9:41,50) He promised that such a person would never lose his heavenly reward (Mark 9:41) Through these words, there is no hatred of people in the heart of Jesus There is not a single sinner that Jesus cannot forgive Everyone is on Jesus' side The spiritual world has enemies However, in the human world, only the object of love exists Therefore, it is the attitude of a Christian to try to love people with the heart of Jesus Dear Lord!
