2024 12 24 Silent Night Holy Night
On the Nativity of Our Lord, December 24, 2024, the congregation of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Colorado Springs sang "Silent Night, Holy Night," hymn #363 in the Lutheran Service Book. The text if by Franz Joseph Mohr, 1792-1848, as translated by John F. Young, 1820-85. The tune is by Franz Xaver Gruber, 1787-1863 with a tradition setting.
