WEDNESDAY 19TH FEBRUARY 2025 - CRIME WATCH LIVE Today's Highlights: A driver lost both legs while his front seat passenger lost one leg during a serious early morning accident along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway in Aranguez on Wednesday 19th February, 2025. • Jason Roberts aka Smokey of Wharf Trace, Maracas, St Joseph lost both of his legs, while the front seat passenger identified as Kendell Rocke lost one of his legs. • Around 3:05am, Roberts was heading west along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway in company of Kendell and another man identified by his alias Jimpoo, when he reportedly lost control of a Nissan Tiida and crashed into a bus shed near Xtra Foods. • The vehicle was reportedly rented and was expected to be returned today. • Roberts and Rocke were subsequently taken to the hospital where they were treated. The suspect who collected the mother and daughter's money last week in the Sureway weight loss clinic scam has been located. • He was identified as Brandon Seales of Ghandi Street, Madras Road, St. Helena. • Seales stated that Dr. Savannah is his mother, which I found out is a lie and he works as a courier for her and is paid $100 to deliver packages to clients. A woman who was shot by a man known to her in Princes Town on Monday 27th January, 2025, has succumbed to her injuries earlier today. • The deceased was identified as 57-year-old Wendy Thomas of Cedar Hill Village, Princes Town. • Around 10:50pm on January 27th, Thomas was standing at the front door area of her home, when the suspect identified as 31-year-old Nazrudeen Sookoor, aka Moko, entered her yard armed with a gun. • Thomas was conveyed to the San Fernando general hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday 19th February, 2025. A Belmont Man was Charged with Murder and Wounding when he appeared in court on Tuesday 18th February, 2025. • The accused, 24-year-old Samuel Alexander from Mc Kai Lands, Belmont, was denied bail when he appeared at the Port of Spain High Court yesterday. • Alexander was charged with Murder the murder of 24-year-old Tafawa Roberts, Wounding with Intent, Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition. Police are searching for a robbery suspect who escaped after police shot at him during a search at his home in San Juan on Tuesday 18th February, 2025. • The suspect was identified as Enrique Faustin of Porter Hill Road, Grand Curacaye, San Juan, who was detained relative to larceny and robbery inquiries in the North Central, North Eastern and Port of Spain Divisions. A woman died following a head-on collision along Lady Young Road, Morvant early on Wednesday 19th February, 2024. • The deceased was identified as 34-year-old Nickeila Ryan of Mon Repos Road, Morvant. • Around 4 a.m., Ryan was driving a Nissan Tiida north along the roadway when she crashed and died at the scene. A total of 10 persons died as a result of road traffic accidents for the year thus far. The funeral service for 16-year-old Kelita Jahmal King who died after being injured in a car accident on Monday 10th February, 2025, took place at the Marabella Evangelical Church along Battoo Street earlier today.
