2005 Ford Taurus A/C Evaporator Orifice Line Disconnect - How To

Removal of the lower orifice a/c line from the low port on the evaporate core in the firewall of a 2005 Ford Taurus. You will need a 3/4” wrench, 5/8” plastic a/c disconnect tool, and patience. It seems near impossible to remove this line without using some kind of leverage. You can use the wrench to pry against the firewall and plastic disconnect tool to get the tool under the metal spring holding the connecting together to get it apart.
