29 August 2020, marks the end of a 22 year long legacy. Bus Service 700 has officially been withdrawn from service due to the lack of demand after the Downtown Line Stage 2 opening. With use of public funds as the main issue, Land Transport Authority Singapore has decided to pull the service out.
