My Will ("not my will but your will be done" - following God's will) 2.) My Feelings (life direction not based on our feelings but God's instructions in His word) 3.) My Opinion (my opinion vs Teachings of the Church - "Objective Truth") Praying, Fasting, and Almsgiving (antidote against my will, my feelings and my opinion) prayer - give time for prayer fasting - chastity, overcoming inordinate desires almsgiving - relation for others
