Titled; A Man or Woman Of God. 2 Corinthians 13:8(KJV); For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth How do you tell a man or woman of God? The answer is in our theme scripture. The Bible says that he or she can do nothing against the truth but for the truth. When he speaks, he does not seek to exalt himself. His heart will always be to raise Christ up so that He may draw men to Himself(John 12:32). Any miracle or sign that such a one performs is not meant to draw attention to himself. He does not prophesy so that people can acknowledge his ability to see the unseen or hear God. His actions are aimed at pointing men to Jesus Christ, the source of all truth. This is the very mind of Paul in 2 Corinthians 6:3 when he says, “Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed.” As a man or woman of God, your loyalty, allegiance and attitude towards life are centred on preserving God’s truth and never bringing His gospel to shame because you understand the price of truth.
